We all like to see our leather boots look clean and new, but after some time new boots will certainly change into old ones and never look shining again. So how can we take good care of the leather shoes and slow down its rate of growing old?

Leather shoes need to be taken good care of when they are still very new and shining. Most boots are water-proof, but if you wanna use a pair of leather boots on a rainy day, it will be wise to coat some oil on the boot before going out. Nevertheless, too much oil is not that good for it may work other way.

In order to put it more clearly, I would like to list several approaches as follows:

1. Do not try on the leather boot immediately you but it. What you need to do is to spread a layer of oil on the boot and place it on the window or somewhere else for about one day.

2. A pair of leather boot ought to be repaired at least once a week, which means you have to coat oil on the boot frequently. If you happen to wear the boot on the bad weather, first of all, dry it and then spread oil on it.

3. To some ladies, white boots can be so hard to resist but problems still come with it. The white boots can be very difficult to keep clean. A simple way is to apply rubber to get rid of the dirts on it.

4. Leather boots are very suitable to be wore in fall or winter, but when spring comes, we will not need them any more. At that time, you may want to know how to store the leather boots properly. The first step is to clean the boots and make it dry with one or two shining days. Then you have to spread some shoes cream on your boots and the last step is to push some paper in so that the shape can be kept well.

5. If you want to dry a pair of wet leather boots, what you need to do is to put it somewhere warm instead of somewhere too hot.

6. You'd better use some specialized tools to deal with your frizzled leather boots for ordinary shoes cream and brushes will spoil them in the end.

At last, the job of taking care of leather boots is in fact not an easy one. You need not only care but also patience. However, the wish of being charming will finally help you make it.
